What it does for your water
The AFWFilters Fleck 5600SXT 24,000-Grain Water Softener and Filter System is a softener and filter combo rated at 24,000 grains on a Fleck 5600SXT control valve.
Grain ratings are full-salt figures. At an efficient salt setting its rating delivers about 18,000 grains between regenerations, enough for up to 2 people on 15 grains-per-gallon water regenerating weekly, or 1 on 25 grains per gallon. Size it to your own water.
It pairs the softener with a filter stage. Check what the filter stage is rated to reduce on the listing, and that its cartridge or media is easy to replace.
The Fleck 5600SXT head is one of the most widely serviced valves; seal kits, pistons, boards and meters that name it are in the valve parts lookup.
From the listing: connections 3/4" connections; power corded-electric; model 5600SXT; material fiber, glass, resin; valve Fleck 5600SXT.
The listing gives a shipping weight of 95 lb.
