What it does for your water
The DuraWater Fleck 5600SXT 48,000-Grain Water Softener and Filter System is a softener and filter combo rated at 48,000 grains on a Fleck 5600SXT control valve.
Grain ratings are full-salt figures. At an efficient salt setting its rating delivers about 36,000 grains between regenerations, enough for up to 4 people on 15 grains-per-gallon water regenerating weekly, or 2 on 25 grains per gallon. Check it against your hardness.
It pairs the softener with a filter stage. Check what the filter stage is rated to reduce on the listing, and that its cartridge or media is easy to replace.
The Fleck 5600SXT head is one of the most widely serviced valves; seal kits, pistons, boards and meters that name it are in the valve parts lookup.
From the listing: features listed Fleck 5600SXT digital metered control head; mounting Self-Installation; power Adapter; capacity stated as 250 lb; model 5600Sxt; material Resin.
The listing gives dimensions of 14 in (L) x 14 in (W) x 62 in (H), a shipping weight of 0.27 g and ['instruction manual', 'inlet hose', 'outlet hose'] in the box.
