What it does for your water
The Eddy ED6002P-US Electronic Water Descaler is an electronic descaler that works on the pipe from the outside. Its listing gives a flow rating of 10 GPM.
Like every salt-free option, it leaves the hardness minerals in the water: a test strip reads the same afterwards, and the maker's claim is about scale, not softness.
Electronic units need a power outlet near the pipe and work only on the pipe they are wrapped around; the maker lists which pipe materials and diameters suit them.
The listing also gives features listed True Magnetic; mounting DIY; power Ac; capacity stated as 1 in; model ED6002P-US; warranty 12 Month Satisfaction Warranty. Lifetime Repair/Replace Warranty.
The listing gives dimensions of 6.75 in (L) x 1.5 in (W) x 3.5 in (H), a shipping weight of 14 ounces and eddy electronic water descaler standard cable in the box.
Warranty, per the listing: 12 Month Satisfaction Warranty. Lifetime Repair/Replace Warranty.
